haven blogged for ages.. this may jus become my tagline for the beginning of my every blog entry. this week meiying is a poor meiying.. took mc 2 days in a week. missed a dvd night in with my squatters, a mahjong session with my regular kakis (which i shall call the taitai-gang from now onwards), and the snowskin mooncake i've been craving for especially made for us by taitai!!!!!

took the 1st mc on tues. or is it mon. watever it is, went to work. cough cough sniff sniff cold cold. actualli well enuff to continue working. but tinking of the 14 days mc i hav left till the end of the yr, and the money i can claim for seeing doc (tho i still hav to pay 15% of the med bill), and the serious mindset of wanting to sleep, and a little bit of headache, i decided to take the rest of the day off to c doc. left at 10plus am.

mus b retribution for faking to be more sick den i m.. my dad n mum got diarrhoea while i was sick with cough sore throat n cold. den they recovered, dad went genting on thurs. so decided to slp with my mum on thurs. den friday morn i oredi can feel the grumbling of my stomach. wonder if the bacteria was still lingering ard my parents' room or i had overnight food the day b4. but nonetheless, i still went to work. cos got health screening on friday. cannot waste money.

it was a torture. felt weak in my legs, weak in my stomach, feel like puking. somemore din hav breakfast cos mus fast for the health screening. wanted to get the health screening over n done with early so tt can eat sth mayb ease the sick feeling. it was den tt i realised tt mus take Q number de!!! so i went down to take my Q number of... 106. n they were oni calling 54.

the ger told me to come bac 15min-half hour ltr.. so i went up.. chked some email. argh.. big boss ask me to draft email for big big boss. sibei sian.. so went down to c if my no. has reached. huh oni 67. but feeling too sian to work, i jus sat n waited... feeling sick... for ages... finally my turn.... to REGISTER.

haha but after registering den can go thru the health screening routine liao. take eyesight, height, weight (grrr...), blood pressure. all done quite smoothly. it's gonna b over soon. walk to nex station, take blood. ARGH so many ppl!!!! ok nm sit down n wait. it's totally not organised.. no Q no nothing. jus pounce on the nurse when he/she's free. but of cos mus try to let the ppl who came b4 u go 1st lah.. it's ur own courtesy. so i waited until it's sorta my turn den i pounced on a male nurse. it was a damn long wait...

sibei suay... i tink i kenna an amateur one. he pat pat my hand. look for very long.. den prepare to poke needle in. in my 22.5 yrs of life, everytime ppl wanna poke needle into me, i'll look at them do it. but tt day.. i was feeling too sick to witness the traumatising scene. so i looked away, closed my eyes n waited for it to happen. i felt the slight pain, den the pain intensified, which i assume means the needle caught my vein. so i turned bac to see if the blood is flowing oredi. yes the blood is flowing oredi, but not into the syringe.. i saw a look on the nurse's face n he withdrew the needle.. n abit of blood flowed out.

he cannot find the vein. he asked the nurse beside if she wanted to take over. n said "it's invisible." how encouraging. plaster no. 1 stuck on my right hand.

i changed chairs. feeling abit sad tt it's not over yet. n continue feeling sick. somemore cannot wear jacket... cos need my hands exposed to take blood mah.. so waited for a while more for the female nurse to get prepared. the nurse is quite good, from observation the ppl who approach her go off quite fast. n 2 aunties were saying they're waiting for her. the nurse came, asked me to exercise my left hand. den after a while, taptap rub alcohol. den asked me if i'm feeling ok. i mus hav looked sick den. den i said actualli abit not feeling well. asked me if i wanna rest awhile 1st. BUT I WANNA GET IT OVER N DONE WITH!!! it was oredi 2 hours n it's still not done ok. cos of alot of stupid waiting. so i asked her to carry on. as like the 1st time, i looked away, closed my eyes, n waited.

pain.. more pain.. i can feel the needle moving ard. i noe got some prob le.. but i cant bear looking at the nurse twisting the needle ard to find the vein. so i continued to wait.. until she said "sorry.. realli cannot get the vein"

i was so disappointed tt it's not gonna b over soon tt i broke down. perhaps it was bcos i realli wasnt feeling well. BUT IT WAS DAMN PAISEH OKIE! IN MY 22.5 YRS OF LIFE, I NVR FLINCHED WHILE TAKING INJECTIONS B4, NOT TO MENTION CRY! super throw face. luckily no familiar faces in the room. den bcos i cried, i had to sit aside n wait until my emotions cool down abit b4 i can try taking blood again. plaster no. 2.. anywae. on my left hand. n more waiting.. kns. to save my leftover face, i tried to stop crying asap la.. at tt time i was tinking, if oni i had someone at my side to comfort me, yet i dun wan anyone i noe to c me crying. so ironic. hahaha.

i was feeling so bad/sick i wanted to quit the health screening altogether. when i finally calmed down, knowing tt i still hav a ECG test tt had to be done at the hosp another day, i tot of asknig the nurse if i can do the blood test on the same day oso. den the nex devastating news came.. ECG can be done on the same day.. equipment is in the office bldg.

WTH... more waiting!!! not over yet even after i get my bloody blood out!?!?! the nurse suggested i get my ECG done 1st... so i walked out, went to lau sai 1st, den eventually walked back to the bloody room... cos mus take blood 1st, pay.. get some voucher den can go for ECG. 3rd time.. same routine.. finally blood come out le. thank goodness. plaster no. 3 on my left hand. the nurse immed got a milo for me, saying tt i shld eat sth soon b4 i faint. oh of which the milo later came out in my vomit. hahaha

oops i accidentally talked so much on the health screening alone. got more to touch on. haha. fast forward till i got bac to my desk. realli cannot take it anymore. feel realli faint n weak n stomachache n pukey.. asked for the day off again!!! haha.. by tt time oredi 12... 2 days mc in a week. took cab home.. c doc..

c doc is another episode altogether. Episode 2. haha. c the same doc twice in a week. both times are sicknesses tt can be faked. if i'm the doc i'll oso tink i'm faking it. both times i had to ask for the mc myself. the 2nd time he "interrogated" me ok. asked me abt the 3 plasters on my hand. when he asked me i was wondering if he was wondering tt i'm doing drugs. haha.. den after tt he asked me how come diarrhoea still go work in the morn. haizz.. unfrenly doc he is.

den go home... wanna go to slp so tt can forget abt pain/suffering. tt's wat i normally do when i'm sick. but diarrhoea is so tong ku!!! lie down oso not comfy, whole body ache and suan.. move into all sorts of posns oso not comfy. so irritating. not to mention the stomachaches... but after not eating ANYTHING except for tt packet of milo which i vomitted out, i felt better at night. of cos, i slept the entire day n night. except for a few hours in the evening when i feel so uncomfy lying down (can u believe tt!~?! meiying feeling uncomfy lying down ), i sat up n worked on the email tt i promised my big boss b4 i left office.. n chatted n watched tv. hehe. den went bac to slp.

n so bcos of my diarrhoea, i had to cancel my dvd night in... when i had met my squatters for ages.. n den bcos i was afraid i'll feel uncomfy n puke in kel's hse, or stink his toilet up.. i decided to cancel mahjong too.. which resulted in the supposedly baked for me snowskin mooncake landing up in taitai's mum's stomach instd.. n resulted in no mahjong until one month ltr... ARGH
