Pathetic experience @ Jurong island..

although chem engin is normally linked to jurong island, i've oni been to JI once in my 4 yrs of nus. but tt time is a sch trip. so i went in in a chartered bus and came out in a chartered bus. today is the 1st time i have to enter JI myself. gosh was it a pathetic experience.. supposed to go down to CPTC for an informal interview. but cos the person who contacted me (shall be called lalala from now on) have not taken public transport in for a long time, she gave me rubbish instructions to get to JI. but nm.. i managed to find the place to take the bus @ JE interchange. so lalala said there'll b a bus @ 9.50am. took the bus, bought the tix @ $2, got to the JI chkpt, went in to exchange i/c for a visitor pass, came out, bus is gone! bus din wait! wth!!! even malaysia customs bus oso got wait!

nm.. i went to the bus stop to wait for bus. after a while no bus. went to chk out the bus plate. i took the 9.50am bus @ JE rite. so i m at the chkpt ard 10.10am. i look at the bus plate. the bus i missed is 9.50am. how retarded. the timing @ JE and the timing @ JI is the same. tink we can teleport ah!~?!~? n the worst thing is.. THE NEX BUS IS AT 11.45AM!!!!!!!!!!! tt's like 1.5hours of waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!! n i'm supposed to b at the company at 11am... so i called lalala to tell her tt the nex bus is 1145.. hoping to hav some alternative way to get there. but lalala said "1145.. we'll b having lunch.. *pause for a while* ok nm, we'll wait for you. bye!"

T_T she expects me to wait for 1.5hours. which i realli do not wish to. so i approached the security at the chkpt and ask for alternatives. den they say can take cab. so i had to call cab. the cab costs $8.10 (inclusive of $2.50 booking fee)... jus to get to the stupid company. sob sob.

nm. went in for the informal interview. everything went well. the 2 managers like me and tink tt my results are good.. (makes me wonder who's applying for the job.. poly students?) so they told me tt they'll recommend me for the formal interview, where i'll meet the directors n stuff. tt's good.

"my last Q is.. how do i get outta here?"
"lemme chk if my colleagues are going out for lunch. mayb they can send u out"

end of interview. 12.10pm. i missed the 11.45am bus. when's the nex bus? 2pm.
trying my luck, "sorry lalala.. wat's the nex bus timing?"
"lemme chk.. *runs off to get schedule* hmmm i oni hav the timing of the buses coming from JE"
"erm ok nm. i rem seeing the nex bus is 2pm"
"orh ok! u can go out to tt busstop n wait for the bus."
p/s: it was oni 12.30pm........................

n i refuse to call a cab cos very ex..
i was desparate until i feel like hitch-hiking a car tt's going out..
but i din dare to.
suddenly i spot a cab.
"aiyah heck it la.. at least i can save the booking fee."

cab to JE costs $9.90.

T_T total expenditure = $2 + $8.10 + $9.90 = $20
