shit i wanted to blog on the 1st day of 2007. missed it. lol. i was doing some blog-surfing ytd, n i seem to realise a trend to do some reflections on 2006 and hav some new yr resolutions for 2007. well mayb i shld do tt too, since i'm a trend-follower, and the last time i wrote any new yr resolutions was the time i started my blog, which is a couple of yrs ago

hmmmm... come to think of it, nothing significant or happening went on for me in 2006. i tink i din make any new frens in 2006. nor did i get a bf.

the 1st half of the yr was internship, n den it was perhaps the 1st summer break where i din get a job. jus nua-ed my way till sem starts. n den it was a whole load of mugging.
well dere r a few special things tt happened.
1st, i had my 1st aeroplane ride of my life. finally managed to travel to places outside of singapore n malaysia. frankly, i tot tt travelling jus feels like having a void in ur life which u cannot account for when u come bac to singapore. haha. but nonetheless, i miss taiwan. i wanna go bac....

2nd, some frenships were strengthened. found new mahjong khakis.

3rd, totally unplanned, i went for new year countdown at the esplanade. well i din plan to go, since in my opinion i'm not close to the happening ppl i noe, and the ppl i'm close to are not the countdown type. but in the end, my dad was psycho-ed by my cousin to go countdown. so i tot might as well go loh. and it was until this time when i finally realised how no life 2006 had been for me. it's been ages since i went to the merlion park, a place i like quite abit cos it gives me a feeling of serenity.

that aside, i had a pretty ok countdown. i met all 3 kinds of ppl which i feel is essential to have a satisfying countdown. no.1 type are the ones who'll forcefully push their way thru the crowd when everyone can barely move oredi. n the auntie even said "u noe why i'm here? cos i walked the wrong way!" , a sentence which made me laugh out loud in my heart.

no. 2 type are the ones who'll scold the no. 1 types for pushing when dere's no more space to move! it was pretty fun to hear them say "relax la auntie. cannot move oredi.. jus stand here n wait for the fireworks." but i was oso abit worried tt the auntie will push until ppl fall down n get injured, me included. n the 3rd type of ppl are the ones who'll scold the police n ask them to remove the barricade after the fireworks is over. heh.

well besides meeting these 3 kinds of ppl, a countdown would not b complete without
1) hearing the "wooooohh"s from the crowd when the fireworks haven come at all,
2) squeezing in a crowd which is totally immobile,
3) hearing all the "wah"s when the pretty fireworks are in the sky,
4) climbing over bridges and all to find a way outta the crowd,5) and walking for ages to reunite with the rest of the family/frens.

so all in all, i'm still a happening person in 2006 cos i went for countdown.

now for the new year. actualli i dun haf much gan3 chu4 for the new year. instead, i've more gan chu in that the last sch holidays of my life is gonna end soon. this semester will b the last semester of my sch life. i'm entering the nex phase of my life which i've no clue about. i always say to ppl ard me tt it's human nature to b unsatisfied about ur life. when i'm studying, i'll tink tt working is good. oni office hours, after tt go home can jus enjoy urself. somemore u're being paid! budden when i'm working, n cannot doze off as n when i like, i'll start thinking, why m i doing this to myself? i can jolly well quit n go home to take my nap. studying is much better, can jus switch off whenever i like. but at the end of the day, i do realise tt i prefer studying to working. as of now of cos. hee. so i'm a little sad tt my student life is gonna b over soon. n i'll b forced to grow up.
okie i've decided tt i dun wanna make new year resolutions. cos i dun keep to them anywae. haha.. okie okie fine. i'll make some.. ermmm... be a better person? have a more fulfilling life? hahaha.. okie serious n routine stuff is over. lemme tell u all some news.
i bought a hse!!!

nah this is a preview of the new hse i'm gonna build. but if u all hav been to the hse i'm living in now, or heard me say b4, my room basically has no tables which can be used. put in a clearer way, my room has no empty surface except the walls. every single horizontal spot tt can b used to put things is oredi occupied. so even if i build my hse now, dere's no where to display them. i gotta fins a land for my new hse! (i.e my hse will oni b set up in AGES)

man i've always loved this kinda things. when i was doing xmas shopping last yr, i saw this thing where they let u literally build ur own hse with cement, but it's in wood of cos. n i tot it was realli cool n nice!!! but it costs $18.90 so i tot it's abit ridiculous to buy this kinda thing for myself. hee.
