since a couple of years back, all the reality shows, free money shows like who wants to be a millionaire etc started being popular. i suppose the most recent such show is "deal or no deal". guess everyone has somehow, sometime watched an episode of it somewhere. i've watched one or 2 episodes. it's not too bad actualli, with all the pretty babes looking pretty beside their breifcases waiting for their number to b called. i had wanted to watch the episodes with the hunks when i saw the ad on tv. but somehw they werent appealing enuff for me to rem when it is showing exactly, n go home to watch them. dere's a part i find kinda silly tho, the part where the banker calls the host to strike a deal with the player. isnt it quite redundant? they can simply jus make the offer appear on the screen or sth. but they had to make it drama n hav the banker call the host n let the host create some suspense. lol

oh anywae.. sorry for digressing. better move on to the topic proper b4 u start wondering wat i m doing, commenting on a variety show tt has been showing for ages oredi. oh well the thing is, i read "kennysia.com" quite frequently, like the way he blogs. quite entertaining. so happens tt he managed to get on the deal or no deal in KL. n... u'll probably laugh ur head off after u watch his episode, or feel damn sad for him.. so when u've time, trust meiying n watch it okie? if the videos below dun work, u can search for "kennysia deal or no deal" on youtube. kennysia himself posted the videos. hehe

New Year Countdown~

yea i noe i said in my prev entry tt i dun hav anymore parties for the year 2007. but hey.. it's last min tt this gathering came true okie? so happens tt squatter mz has a chalet with her frens , and her fren's frens etc... n decided to invite us for a new yr's eve bbq. n squatters eli, yu and i last min can make it! yeah~ we did manage to have a celeb for 2007 somehow, tho we missed our annual xmas celeb. pity squatter ja9 n xy wasnt ard tho.

so the bbq turned out to be a very big bbq.. tink 30+ ppl if i din rem wrongly. but everyone din noe everyone.. cos as i recall, there were like 3-4 cliques of frens dere, cliques of frens of the 6 hosts. okie i noe i'm not making this clear. but who cares. haha.

for those who duno.. i stay in the northwest. had a long way to travel to go pasir ris yea? take mrt take until almost wanna puke.. literally. haha. met up with eli n went 1st.. cos ah yu came fr work so was late.. haven been to chalets for a while.. so pardon me while i say this.

i cannot believe it tt i hav to pay to go into a chalet for bbq!!!!!!!!!!!

n den the bbq pits for the same block are all parked in the same area, as opposed to last time where u hav ur own pit in front of ur own chalet. the new arrangement is not very good u noe.. so smoky.. n no privacy. boo.

oh.. on new yr's eve's eve, had a short msn conversation with dwarf minmin n realised tt she was gonna hav a bbq at pasir ris too. but it was a pleasant coincidence tt she's at the same block, at the neighbouring bbq pit. haha. but min was bad k... b4 she left i was like "hey let's take a photo tog". den she said "we hav so many photos tog le wat".. or sth to tt effect. meanie min.

but anywae i had a nice time chatting with my dear eli, mz and ah yu. n also with kailee, audrey. not so much of serene tho, cos she was busy entertaining elisa n bf. oh tho u all may not c this, thks to kailee and audrey for bbq-ing food for me to eat until it's like a buffet! my plate was always full.. input onto the plate was faster den output.. until i decide to throw my plate to ah yu. n den it became her turn to input faster den output. lol. i oso enjoyed jus sitting dere n poking a lot of marshmellow on the sticks for audrey n kailee to bbq while i wait patiently for my bbq-ed marshmellow. oso enjoyed laughing at eli when she kept wanting to offer the sweet potato reserved for ah jack to others.. oso enjoyed looking at the preparation of the huge bento for ah jack by kailee n audrey when he called mz to say he's hungry on his way down. oso enjoyed looking at ah jack's expression when he saw the huge bento prepared for him. oh ah jack said my hairstyle is the jolin cai yi lin's hairstyle. which i insisted on interpreting as he said i look like jolin . n afterwhich he insisted tt i say he lost weight. den i oso enjoyed the calm.. peaceful.. anticlimax countdown we did by jus switching on the tv n looking at chn5's countdown. haha.. n oso enjoyed the ride home with eli n ah yu on my dad's lorry.

all in all, i'm jus glad i had something to do on new year's eve. it's nice, tho it realli seemed boring n it's not even my chalet. haha. but yeah! may the new year 2008 be a great year for all, and an even better year den the past years!! the best has yet to come~

oh jus realised i haven gotten any photographs from anyone. so this will b a photo-less entry. hehe. but i simply wanna blog on 1st day of 2008 yah?

An exciting adventure.. b4 i grow even older to do such things..

shall blog this b4 2007 ends. the most exciting thing i've done in 2007, n the first time i'm doing such things.. is a theme-based party. It came one fine evening when minmin, ah li, lala and meimei were having dinner.. n was planning for a xmas party. den minmin suggested tt we hav a theme-based party this yr. n it was decided tt we shall hav a PJs party~

hmmm PJs party nothing much rite.. jus go someone's hse.. change n take some photos. but nahz.. ah li decided tt she wanna sing ktv.. so ermm yes. we wore PJs with xmas hats to chinatown. event date was Hari Raya Haiji eve.. 21 Dec 07. yes.. we din even do this on xmas eve.. but did it on harirayahaji eve instd.. so it was totally...

anywae dawndawn n minmin did a very good update of the event. if i blog i'll probably say the same things.. so i shall jus paste their links here.. u all jus click n read k? min n la.. i still dun hav the photos.. can u all send to me someday?

in previous yrs, altho i'm not a very very festive person who goes for countdowns for all occasions, or hav very happening frens who'll always jio me for such countdowns, but i'll normally hav at least 1 xmas gathering with my Squatters, n mayb 1 with my Dwarves, n perhaps some new yr party with Selines, or cn5-ers, or another new yr party with squatters and dwarves.. this yr? cos of unforeseen circumstances, 1 xmas gathering got cancelled, 1 new yr gathering i din go for of bad mood. so oni left 1xmas gathering. which is the PJs party. hehee. how come this yr so sad ah.. is it cos we're old le.. dun do such stuff anymore? or cos everyone is adapting to their new phase of lifes so busier.. n the new frens made are not close enuff to hav such countdown parties? i duno.. but it's okie i guess. i'm not a very happening person either. jus sometimes, esp at the eves of public hols, when i feel abit sad tt i'm so not happening.. lol

so i tink the 2 peaks of my life is probably at sec sch, where life was realli 无忧无虑.. n i joined a happening cca, met a bunch of happening Squatters n 出生入死 with them.. n den had a bunch of sinful accomplices the Dwarves. yes we still talk abt how we always had our own main courses during recess, followed by slices of pizzas n garlic bread!! it's realli cos of the dwarves tt i'm in this state today..

the 2nd peak of my life probably happened during uni.. where i made the right choice of joining FWC to meet frens.. n i did meet the Selines.. where we're still keeping in contact till now. even when most other ogs died down.. n den we went tog to be councillors for the nex FWC. i realli enjoyed tt period of time.. the bonding, the regular outings, the fake flirtings, the mahjong sessions, the fright night!!! left a lot of fond memories.. n of cos my cn5-ers.. but with them is more of having a lot of fun while doing projs n stuff.. all my nus exciting stuff shld hav been covered in my entry abt nus graduation le

i'm not a good writer.. so i prob din make my life sound as exciting to you as it had been to me.. i'm grateful for my life so far.. nonetheless, i still hav a few wishes tt will make my life complete. hope 2008 will be a better yr.. HAPPY NEW YEAR MY DEAR FRENS!!!

after the shopping centres late le.. so we went to the Eye on Malaysia loh~

the 2 photos above are connected.. lemme tell u the story.. while photo 1 was being taken, OK said "i suddenly rem u telling me tt take photos mus try to get ur face more behind den the others, den face will b smaller" upon saying tt, i moved bac one step.. n OK simply just leaned back.. lol... apparently a 2nd shot was decided to be taken.. n this time round KQ oso heard the comments.. so u c all of us fighting to lean back more to hav small faces in the photo!!!

anywae the area surrounding Eye on Malaysia has very nice scenery.. somemore we went ard sunset time.. so took a lot of photos..








we decided to walk one round n wait till abt sun setting time den get onto the Eye on Malaysia to see nice view.. but along the way... i saw the swing n i couldn't resist going to play... n den everyone took their turns... lol..


n den it became a playground session..........




finally decided to walk back to the Eye on Malaysia...




the twin towers look alot prettier at night when it's lighted!!! oso can c the KL tower at the RHS of the photo..

we took so many photos on the ride cos they let us go for.. at least 4 rounds i tink.. hehe

n den we went to Petaling St.. aka Chee Cheong Kai.. dinner 1st!!! very nice.. n last but not least, after finishing shopping at Petaling st.. we went Red Box for late night KTV.. (i'm now a Red Box member.. can ask me along if wanna sing nex time. got discount. )

Day Four - Go home day...

As you all can see, all thks to our official photographer JZ, even tho we din go anywhere to see or do anything on the last day.. we still took a lot of photos!!! hahaha.. all thks to her we've had a trip well documented.. n this marks the end of the trip. thks frens for reading!
